As many of you know, I love creating manifestation boards and have used them for manifesting my book deal, travel, romance and much more. In my book Feng Shui Your Life, I recommend boards for specific projects and areas of your life and then advise on where to place them for optimum benefit. These boards are a creative way to become clear on your dreams and goals and transform them into reality. We become and manifest what we focus on!
Along comes Pinterest! Many of you may already be using the web site Pinterest and if not, you must check it out. It’s a fantastic resource for saving photos from all over the web to create your own curated manifestation and inspiration boards. Each photo has a link back to the original web site so you can find the source, article or product.
Here’s how it works. Let’s say your intention is to travel to Italy in the coming year. You can create a board with photos of the cities, hilltowns, coastlines, famous squares, cafes, food etc. You can name your board something fun like “Italy here I come” or “La Dolce Vita.” You can use or “pin” images from other Pinterest boards, Google images, web sites, YouTube videos, your personal photos as well as inspirational sayings to build your board. Each new pin adds energy and momentum towards your intention. The more you think about and visualize the things you want, the more likely they are to manifest.
You can make Pinterest boards for home décor & organization, work projects, family vacations, health & fitness, mind/body/spirit and anything you’d like to manifest in your life. You’ll be inspired by everyone else’s boards and they will give you many ideas of how to get started.
In addition, Pinterest gives you “secret boards” if you’d rather keep your boards private. If you wish, you can invite someone to see your board or even collaborate with a special person on creating a board together. At any point, you can save the board as a PDF on your computer and print it out. It’s important to look at your board at least once a day and feel your dreams coming to life.
