You can change your thoughts and behaviors by posting positive reminders in visible areas of your home.

Bathrooms are a great room to place notes prompting you to use mental feng shui. Daily affirmations can be placed on the wall, door, or mirror. For instance, if you are trying to stop rushing in your daily routine, stick a note on your bathroom mirror that says, “I always get ready in a relaxed way.”

If you find yourself repeatedly saying, “This is so hard,” your note might say, “It’s so easy!” This may seem simplistic, but seeing the new words in front of you every day really works by shifting your thinking.

You must train your mind to avoid your habitual, negative words and phrases and replace them with positive, empowering ones. One of my favorite phrases is “Breathe and smile.” Change the affirmations as you triumph over old habits.

Use notes all around the house, including over the sink in the kitchen, above your desk, and on the inside of the front door to remind yourself before leaving the house. Use pink paper to soften your heart and gently guide you into transformation.
