Check out this video where I share easy tips to turn your home into a relaxing haven. Jason Wachob from MindBodyGreen interviews me to find out how to create a calm and stress-free environment!
Let me know how these tips work for you!
Myself, always stake off my shoes before walking into the house from the car/garage then into the kitchen, but didn’t understand the nature artwork clearly (the audio was not good).
Hi Karin – Nature is healing and even looking at natural landscapes/seascapes calms the nerves. Hanging artwork with trees, mountains, flowers, oceans, lakes etc will automatically relax you.
Love the new blog and I look forwards to reading more.
I too took your B&N University course, 2x’s. I learned so much from that, your book and the ongoing newsletters. I particularly like your combination of western pragmatism and Feng Shui.
One comment on the video, sorry to say the background noises came through too loud and clear and made it hard to focus — creating stress. 😀 The bird cheeps were particularly distracting for me.
Continued good luck! 😀
Great Message for destressing. i actually do not let people come into my home with his or her shoes on upon entry. I have a beautiful Blue Butterfly Flaf that I framed with hanging in my entryway that says “Listen to your Spirit Whisper to your Heart”. I do believe your home should always be your sanctuary because it is the ONE place you can completely escape into because it evolves around the items you and people you love the most. Thanks for message and keep up the great work you are very inspiring.
