Oct 2025 – Stunning Sicily Retreat with Jayme Barrett

Be Enchanted & Rejuvenated in Sicily!

October 5 -11 2025

Would you like to be luxuriating on the beautiful island of Sicily on October 5th for seven glorious days? Can you imagine a week completely devoted to joyful adventures, glorious self-care, breathing in nature’s bounty and indulging in all the deliciousness of La Dolce Vita (the sweet life) in one of the most glorious islands in the Mediterranean?

If your answer is YES, you’re invited to our October 2025 Stunning Sicily Rejuvenation Retreat in the warm inviting island of Sicily, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and culturally rich destinations in Italy. It’s a land of stunning seascapes, rich culture, picturesque countryside, vibrant cities, artisanal ceramics, and delicious cuisines.

After visiting the island in 1787, Goethe wrote “To have seen Italy without having seen Sicily is not to have seen Italy at all, for Sicily is the clue to everything.” The island was once ruled by the Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Normans, and Spanish, and each civilization has left its mark. When you come with me on retreat to Sicily, you’ll experience this ancient history along with the visual and cultural treasures still very much present today.

If you’re like many women who join us, your daily life is filled with to-do lists, rushing from one thing to the next and generally putting everyone’s needs before your own. Sound familiar? Well, this retreat is your chance to refill your own energy tank and put the focus back on yourself. We’ve done all the planning so you get to sit back and enjoy! Ladies, if you already know you want to come, email us here to secure your space.

Sicily is the perfect place to feel inspired and re-ignite your own wishes for your life. Being able to let go of all responsibilities and be present to your own needs is a true gift.

My sweet friend – this retreat is all about You! It’s time to dream big and expand your horizons…

Envision copious amounts of “Me Time” coupled with wonderful day trips plus yoga and life enhancement classes. You’ll find yourself getting back in touch with your own rhythm and desires. You won’t have to lift a finger. In fact, your only decision will be choosing cannoli flavors and that’s fun!

Whether you come by yourself or with a friend, you’ll be welcomed in the warm embrace of our retreat sisterhood. It’s a super supportive and nourishing environment where like-minded women share, bond and delight in soulful journeys, cultural experiences, scrumptious food all while taking in the beauty of the Sicily, one of the most beautiful and historic islands in the world.

I’m Jayme Barrett and I’m passionate about helping women lead happier, healthier, more inspired lives by curating and running rejuvenation retreats all over Europe and Morocco for the last 14 years as well as through my best-selling book “Feng Shui Your Life,” life enhancement consulting and coaching.

A recent guest called our retreat “a light, beautiful, heart-felt adventure with mind-opening experiences… a truly life-changing event.”

On my 15th year leading retreats, I’m beyond excited for this 2025 retreat location in Sicily. I’ve created meaningful connections with the locals who share their food, spaces, gardens and workshops with us. These relationships are what makes these retreats truly unique.

Our retreat guests, who come from all over the US and world, have the most joyful and meaningful time together! Many become fast friends for life. Most importantly, for you, it is also a chance to fully exhale—no demands, no caretaking, just space to reconnect with yourself and your own juicy desires. I’d love you to join our retreat sisterhood!

Picturesque Southeastern Sicily

Our home for the week is at a peaceful traditional Masseria (a farmhouse estate) with an organic garden and infinity pool in the picturesque Val di Noto. Our hotel is in a spectacular location surrounded by olive trees and a perfect place to unwind, enjoy a glass of wine, eat a yummy meal all while taking in beautiful views of the countryside.

The Southeast region feels distinctly old world and untouched by time, an area that has everything you could wish for including art, culture, ancient olive and carob trees, hilltop cities and beautiful sandy and pristine beaches

You’ll enjoy warm Sicilian hospitality, delicious food, yoga and life enhancement as well as time to relax by the pool… or play tennis and bocce ball.

On our day trips, we’ll visit historic towns for lunch and shopping, explore Greek ruins, delight in a wine-tasting at a country estate, enjoy a farm-to-table Sicilian cooking class at an organic farm, and savor a special private luncheon overlooking the UNESCO city of Modica, the birthplace of Italian chocolate. In fact, on this retreat, we’ll visit four UNESCO world heritage cities filled with baroque architecture unique to Sicily.

Accommodations in Sicily

For seven days, we’ll be guests at a charming farmhouse Masseria situated in the Val di Noto countryside. The 19th-century farmhouse is built around a pink baglio (courtyard) full of character. Wherever you turn you will find quiet corners and delightful sights like the small rock and organic herb garden or the three shallow spa pools.

The accommodations are in newer buildings with the edges softened by the dusky pink color of the walls and the jasmine, honeysuckle and rose plants climbing up the sides. Across the lawn is the beautiful infinity pool: semi-circular and surrounded by sun loungers shaded by olive trees.

The hotel rooms are positioned individually on the property, offering you peace and privacy. The furniture is typical of old peasant homes: Beds with iron frames, dark wood chests of drawers, rough fabrics, and traditional ceramics are mixed with handwoven tapestries mixing natural fibers and materials, with a sober and yet sophisticated taste.

They have air-conditioning along with a mini-bar, safe, TV, Wi-Fi and a private entrance. In the bathrooms, you’ll find a shower and a hair dryer. There are Single and Double Standard and Superior rooms. Superior rooms are larger.

At the hotel property, you’ll enjoy:

  • Infinity pool and three spa pools
  • Organic garden, tennis and bocce ball courts.
  • Relaxing, Reading and Daydreaming

Meals & Sicilian Food

On this retreat, you’ll be feasting on delicious Sicilian food from the hotel’s restaurant known for their traditional specialties, fresh pasta and fish. For lunch on our day trips, you’ll enjoy restaurants of your choosing in the towns we visit. The food at the hotel is some of the best I’ve had in Italy.

At the hotel, breakfasts include eggs, pastries, breads, cheese, jams, fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea. For dinner, you’ll delight in Italian food full of local flavor including homemade pasta, risotto, fresh fish, grilled chicken, seasonal vegetables and homemade desserts such as tiramisu.

From their site: We serve a wide range of traditional foods, re-elaborated with taste and lightness, thanks to the use of local products such as PDO Sicilian cheeses, olive oil from Val di Noto, fresh fish from our seas, fresh and cured meats from local farms, organically grown fruits and vegetables. Special attention is dedicated to desserts, the apple of the eye of Sicilian cuisine, of gelato, fresh jams and semifreddo desserts, using ingredient such as almonds, walnuts, pistachios, lemons, oranges, fresh ricotta cheese and wild thyme honey.

All included dinners are three courses with water. (Wine and other beverages available for purchase)

We’ll also enjoy a true farm-to-table, farm-to-fork Sicilian cooking class in the Noto Countryside with a menu that is focused on using locally sourced, fresh, and organic ingredients from their farm. It is truly special experience and one of the highlights of this retreat. The passion Fabio and Antonella have for wild farming is inspiring!

As an aside, the ricotta cheese in Sicily is like no other. They say it melts immediately in your mouth so if you haven’t tasted a cannoli in Sicily, you’ve never actually tasted one! Lastly, we’ll visit the famous outdoor food market in Ortigia for lunch. You’ll be delighted by all of the delicious local foods, sandwiches, platters, spices and desserts. The street food in Sicily is spectacular!

Retreat Leader

Jayme Barrett

A California nature-lover, lifestyle expert, feng shui consultant, worldwide retreat leader and author of the best-selling book “Feng Shui Your Life,” Jayme Barrett’s happiest moments are spent sharing her positive lifestyle secrets with the world. She is passionate about leading her Rejuvenation Retreats. The main goal is to bring like-minded women together for a deeply joyful and fulfilling experience that will transform their lives.

At the end of last year’s retreat season, Jayme shared “This year, 46 women felt part of a sacred sweet sisterhood where they could let down their guards and get back in touch with their own rhythm and desires, where they put themselves first and let go of daily routines. On retreat, they honor their feelings, learn ways to uplift their daily lives, see stunning places, have meaningful cultural experiences with locals, eat incredibly delicious food and belly laugh in some of the most beautiful places in the world. We are embraced in a circle of love, a circle of belonging, a circle of heart-centered connection, a circle of joy and peace … a circle of like-minded sisters.

The transformations in women from the opening circle to the closing circle are truly inspiring. Our conversations and “aha moments” have deep impact and change their lives. This is what they shared with me. At the end of our retreat, we take home our experiences and inspiration from the workshops to create more positive energy in our daily lives and the lives of those we touch including our family, community, co-workers, friends and the world at large. The world needs more places for true belonging, self-care, putting yourself first, joy and inspiration. My wish is to continue to facilitate these experiences for women for many years to come.

Travel and Flights to Sicily

You will be responsible for booking your own travel and flights to Catania–Fontanarossa Airport (CTA).

To make sure you’re on time for our group pick-up on Sunday, October 5th at 12:00 PM, please arrive at CTA no later than 10:30 AM. If you’re traveling from the United States, this means you’ll need to fly out on Saturday, October 4th.

If you’d love to explore more of Sicily, consider arriving a few days early! The old city of Catania is beautiful and worth visiting for a day, and stunning Taormina is just an hour north.

Booking Flights

The site www.skyscanner.com is a great resource for seeing all your flight options. However, we recommend booking directly with the airline whenever possible. Most likely, you’ll have a stopover in a European or Italian city on your way to Catania Airport (CTA). You could also fly into Rome (FCO) and then take a short connecting flight to Catania. Delta now has a non-stop flight to Catania from JFK, and Norse Atlantic Airways also flies direct to Rome if that works better for you.

Important Layover Tip: If your flight has a layover, especially a “Self-Transfer” where you need to collect your bags and check in again, please ensure you have at least 3 hours between flights to allow plenty of time to get through immigration and security. You might also want to consider booking FLEXIBLE flights that allow changes, just in case.

Airport Transfers: Round-trip transfers to and from our hotel are included in the retreat fee! The drive from Catania Airport to our hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

  • Arrival: We’ll have a group pick-up at Catania Airport (CTA) on Sunday, October 5th at 12:00 PM. If you miss this group pick-up, you’ll need to take a taxi to the hotel.
  • Departure: On the last morning of the retreat, Saturday, October 11th, we’ll arrange a group transfer back to Catania Airport. Since the drive to the airport takes about an hour, please book your flight out of Catania for 10:30 AM or later.

Sicily is a big island so you can also extend your stay and visit other areas. You’ll be dropped at the Catania airport and can make plans from there.

Medical Issues, Travel Insurance, Passport and Travel Authorizations

COVID vaccinations and boosters are no longer required but are highly recommended. We encourage all participants to follow current CDC guidance and be up to date with all recommended vaccines, including COVID-19 and influenza.

If you have any medical issues that will require professional care while on your trip, you must bring and be responsible for all necessary items and treatments related to your condition. Before travelling with Jayme Barrett, we strongly recommend you review your personal insurance and health insurance to ensure you have coverage appropriate to meet your needs in case of any loss of property or illness, injury or death.

Insurance: The trip price does not include any insurance coverage, and Jayme Barrett requires the purchase of travel insurance to protect your trip investment in the event of medical emergencies, lost bags, a cancelled trip or any other unforeseen trip or pre-trip related event. It is strongly recommended that you obtain excellent medical and dental insurance that will cover the cost of any health assistance you may require during your trip. You can get travel insurance including medical through www.squaremouth.comwww.insuremytrip.com, www.worldnomads.com or call your travel agent. You need travel AND medical coverage. Review all plans carefully.

Many travel insurance companies are not covering travelers if they decide not to travel because of Coronavirus or any other risks. This is because Coronavirus is now considered a “known risk”, and travel insurance never covers “fear” as a reason to cancel a trip last minute. If you are worried about trip cancellation coverage, we recommend purchasing or upgrading your current plan to a “cancel for any reason” travel insurance plan. These plans are typically more expensive, but will give you the most likelihood of coverage should any event prevent you from traveling with us. It is your responsibility to confirm your travel insurance coverage.

Passport: Make sure your passport is up-to-date and it should be valid through April 2026. If you need to renew it, do it soon as it’s taking longer these days.

EU & UK Travel Authorizations: There are new online travel authorizations you’ll need to apply for a couple weeks before your trip. They cost between $10-15 with a simple online application. We’ll keep you abreast of them and remind you a few months before your trip.

———————————————————————————————————

Cancellation Policies:

• Your deposit is non-refundable. Full payment is required within 58 days of departure. Cancellation from 58 days prior to 50 days prior: cancellation fee is 50% of total trip cost per person. The trip is nonrefundable inside of 50 days. If a replacement is secured, travelers will get a refund less $250.00.

• If you wish to cancel the trip outside of 50 days, a written cancellation request is necessary.

No refund for unused portions of the retreat, including but not limited to, missed meals, hotel nights and sightseeing. No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat, or for arriving late or leaving early.

Cancellation by Jayme Barrett: Jayme Barrett reserves the right to cancel the trip at any time for any reason, including if there are too few participants, or if the quality of the trip or the safety of travelers is judged by Jayme Barrett in her sole discretion to be compromised. A refund of payments received by Jayme Barrett shall constitute full and final settlement. Jayme Barrett is not responsible for any loss incurred on account of non-refundable or non-transferable air tickets. Buy flexible tickets that are changeable to avoid this issue.

  • Travel insurance is required.
